Hi @Forchapeatl - yes you're welcome to try, but I think it may be a big project, which is why we put it down for the main Outreachy/GSoC program. I think it will involve factoring in the Temasys wrapper mentioned in the linked issue, and switching to that instead of the current getUserMedia Webcam API currently used!
