Find a way to expose current news (monthly newsletter?) on publiccode.net. This should include anecdotes for interest, human touch.

Users:

  • the general public
  • Foundation people in private communications with people at potential member orgs during the opportunity stage of the membership process

Should the news be posted on publiccode.net? Or on the blog and have a prominent link to there?

Definitely on the blog! But if we create a hyperlink to the blog prefiltered for the news tag, then we can have a static 'see our most recent news here!' link on the homepage. @angelplasma was also looking into how to present dynamic updates on the homepage (for example a Twitter feed as the most basic version).
