IPv4 addresses seem to be offline

Hi,

Thank you for the awesome service. I am using the DoT on my PC and other devices.

The 2 IPv4 addresses 45.76.113.31 and 139.99.222.72 seem to not respond to pings and don't seem to work with my router. I would like to put them into the router config so every device can use this automatically.

Additionally, is it better to do it my way or to individually configure each device with DoT or DoH configs?

Thank you

Hi 👋

I've set then up to block pings because for a time the ping traffic was fairly large. The DNS servers only respond to encrypted protocols such as DoT and DoH. As such I don't think there are many router vendors that support those protocols. I myself have setup AdGuard Home on a raspberry pi with those servers as resolvers. Then I've set my router to use my adGuard as the default dns server via DHCP.

I hope that helps :)

What router are you using?
