Trends code , i got symbos instead of the acutal trend

hey guys when am trying to use the code to get trends of my country Egypt i get symbols and numbers instead of the trends , how ever if i use id USA or world , every thing is cool and the result is clear, i know that the problem its about encoding , but i don't know how to fix it or how to use utf-8 to fix this , and i know that this problem will counter me in the reset of the codes , so is there any thing that i can make to detect the encoding problem ,, thanks again , and please help , and sorry for my bad English , god bless you all
