Menu bar icon constantly moving to the left side on a Macbook makes it hidden
I just installed Trailer today, but I've found that I'm having the exact same issue as https://github.com/ptsochantaris/trailer/issues/465, but it's an even worse problem for me because MacOS just hides any icons that would be shown under the notch of the Macbook. I'm using Hidden Bar, but even if I wasn't, I still wouldn't see the menu bar icon because it would always be hidden by the OS under the notch.
This feels like something that should be able to be handled (I have other apps that change their menu bar icon based on statuses but don't change their location), but I also haven't looked at the code at all...
This is on version 1.8.11, macOS 14.7.
I have the same issue, and I've tried a handful of menubar management apps (Ice, Vanilla) and they all behave the same. Every so often (not all updates), Trailer's menu item will become a "new" item, so those bar management apps will move it to the hidden by default. Mostly adding this me too, so that this issue will track in Trailer for me. 😄
