ReactXP
I just saw ReactXP and seems really interesting. Dunno if react-native-macos could fit there. One tool for handle all of those OS and MacOS could be great.
It might be some day, but at first, this project needs to be proven as valuable, stable and well-maintained. At the moment there are some issues that prevent RNmacOS for using in something serious.
@ptmt I would like to know more about the issues you mentioned. What are some examples?
React Native for macOS is heavily coupled with upstream version, and can't be installed as a plugin. It's a separate project right now. And to be just an extension of RN it needs to be proven. Plus ReactXP requires the new level of abstraction and TypeScript support (I remember someone did this once, but it was a long time go). It would be nice to have stable version first, or at least transparent roadmap. But overall, I don't see a big problem, just a matter of time and limited resources.
Christ life is too short for this. It's not our fault it's these short sighted companies building bloody castles and us minions left picking up the pieces.
