Is there any plans to support control over the force-touch haptic trackpad?

Maybe it's not possible, but it would be awesome if we were able to use this https://developer.apple.com/reference/appkit/nshapticfeedbackperformer/1441738-perform to provide user feedback when dragging or hovering.

Sure, I'm having old laptop, but it makes a lot of sense. RN for iOS supports this, this fork should too.

Let's keep it. It's a nice feature to have. I updated MBP and now has the haptic engine, so can hack it one day or other contributors will help.
