@ptitSeb Btw, did i understand right, that currently from GL 3.x we have full support of Samplers, and some sort of support for glVertexAttribIPointer ? (last one i am not sure, as i seeing the code before were added, but lately there were commit meaning that we only prepare for glVertexAttribIPointer) ?
Yes, Samplers are implemented and should work. glVertexAttribIPointer is not really implemented, and that will not work for now.
Why i ask about it , is just i remember you had year ago an idea to implement ogl3.x over ogles2, and it seems really time consuming thing and can't be done very easy.
So i have an idea in which you may be in interest : what you think if i will collect some money like a bounty for "add support of OGL3.x for GL4ES over OGLES2" ? I mean not just 50-100$, but something better like 1000-2000$ ? I can motivate amigaos4 users who will surely support that idea, but that will be me anyway covering that sum, so deal will be just between us, and you will have no needs to worry about others, etc.
I know that things not always about money (or always not), but maybe when its about something more interesting than 50-100$ you will have motivation to works on, etc ?:)
Alternatively, as i understand before OGL3.x work support can be done in GL4ES there maybe something else to be done, so for that one we also can made a bounty , etc. So to split on steps, but cover them all by money, so to have better motivation and interest from your side.
What you think ?
@kas1e I'm not sure I'll have the needed availablity for this with al the other project I have going on, but @rajdakin might be interested. Not right now, as he have many exams soon, but this summer maybe? (rajdakin already did the ARB program parser, and he will at home, with me, this summer)
@ptitSeb Why not :) That not something need it right now. i will bring this topic up again somewhere at the end of spring so if your son will be in interest we can do so :)
