Tor not working with Box86
I tried loading Tor 32bit Linux with box86 configured with cmake, but it didn't work. The OS used was Raspbian 32bit.
From /home/[user]/tor-browser/Browser I entered this command in the terminal: "box86 start-tor-browser" From /home/[user] I used this command: "box86 /home/[user]/tor-browser/Browser/start-tor-browser".
These attempts of mine have both returned "Box86 with Dynarec v0.3.1 705414a3 built on Apr 17 2023 18:59:52" and a tor elf header error: "Error: reading elf header of /home/[user]/tor-browser/Browser/start-tor-browser, try to launch natively instead" Then Tor tries to launch, and I get this error: "When in Tor Browser requires a CPU with SSE2 support. Exiting." Both the Elf Header error and the prompt requesting SSE2 shouldn't be showing up if Tor is trying to launch in the Box86 emulator. I should also mention that when I first installed Box86, I ran it with "ctest" and it passed all tests. However, after rebooting following the instillation of Box86 and cmake, Box86 failed all "ctest" tests. I could not get Tor to launch in Box86 before or after the reboot.
Maybe you have another emulator also using bonfmt redirection, like qemu-user-static?
The only executable I have registered to binfmt_misc is box86.
