I think the speed issue is just the Pi4 GPU beeing too weak for this game.
(screenshot would be nice :p )
Reading https://www.phoronix.com/news/FEX-2405-Released I was wondering how box64 would handle Far Cry - of course it is supported since 2021 :grimacing:
Game is still stuttering when moving the mouse.
Tested on
RADXA Rock 5B (rk3588) 8GB Arch, Gnome, wayland, Panfrost/Panthor, Wine 9.7 WoW64, https://github.com/ptitSeb/box64/commit/1c7e620a86178b2597408586e4f0e4b3b3f246a8 kernel: https://github.com/hbiyik/linux-rockchip/tree/rk-6.1-rkr1-panthor-v6 mesa: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/panfrost/mesa/-/tree/panvk-v10-wip

Got you <3 (using High preset, not really playable)
Looking a the beach on the left in the second image, there seems to be an issue.
With the default low, it is kinda playable but looks quite bad
Thanks for the Screenshots!
Note that with WOw64, using WineD3D will be slow-ish for now, because it based on OpenGL, and OpenGL is still slow on 32bits app with new Wow64 (because lots of memory copy between HiMem and LowMem occurs). I bet it would be super smooth using DXVK (but yeah, not an option for now on with panfrost/panvk)...
