Is there an existing feature request for this?

  • [x] I have searched the existing issues before opening this feature request.

Describe the feature you would like to see.

its dum we cant edit the startup command

just add a tick box that says ( i know what i'm doing )

i need to edit it to get a minecraft server 1.7.10 running on java 17-24 what ever i pick 17 or 18 or 23

but i cant edit the startup command in the panel as for some reason the basic function of this is misssing

or even better give us a box where we can add arguments so lets say we cant edit ram size or anything but after that lets is just add mmm idk -Dfml.readTimeout=180 @java9args.txt but

Describe the solution you'd like.

  1. add a text box where we can add arguments to the startup command or
  2. just let the user edit the startup commend

the best thing is option 1

Additional context to this request.

The startup command can be edited from the admin area under Servers -> Server -> Startup

this goes against what i read here https://github.com/pterodactyl/panel/issues/5056

saying you cant edit it yes an admin can edit it an admin

so what if you are not an admin like my friends im the admin but im not gone be online 24/7 and my friend just needs to edit the startup command arguments only what then?

Like, sorry, but this is bullshit. If someone needs to change an argument, they can just contact support to fix it or do whatever they need. It still doesn't make any sense why you'd even need that if your friend is hosting a Minecraft server.

Honestly, if you're using MC version 1.7.10, just keep it on Java 17 — it’ll run much smoother. And if your friend keeps switching versions, either buy or make a plugin, or just download Blueprint — they’ve got way better addons anyway.

So for your feature request: JUST DOWNLOAD BLUEPRINT.
