Show backup progress during creation and restoration
Is there an existing feature request for this?
- [x] I have searched the existing issues before opening this feature request.
Describe the feature you would like to see.
I would like to see a progress bar, or some sort of progress indicator in backups that we make and/or restore.
It would solve people not knowing if backups are failed, working, or even happening. It'd be easier to understand how much is left in restoration/creation because some big servers that are over 100gb, we can't predict how long it'll take to restore the backup or make one and make decisions on their server. Like a 100gb backup may take 30 minutes to restore ( based on the progress % they can estimate )
in my case i told my community we'll be back online in 10 minutes, but the backup restoration took longer than that.
Describe the solution you'd like.
While making a backup, beside the loading circle, could be a progress % While restoring a backup, under the "Restoring from backup" image, could be a progress %
Additional context to this request.
I've tried viewing wings logs tail -f /var/log/pterodactyl/wings.log while it happens but there's not much going on there, it just says creating backup and only when complete shows its complete.. same with s3 uploading.
Maybe even for server transfers?
I will love to see that :)
It would be great if there is, if there is no upload progress, it will cause the user to not be able to judge whether the uploading file is working properly, (the endless loading circle also makes the user anxious?)
