Migrate existing emulated games to EmuLibrary

I already have a huge collection of roms on my NAS added to Playnite via a network drive. Is it possible to migrate those games to EmulLibrary without having to import and edit the metadata for all of them again? Theoretically it should be enough to change the assigned library to EmuLibrary based on the file name and location and remove the installation status, right?
