Possible to configure output to reduce tilde count?

The standard output contains a lot of tildes (one full row above and below the email address). Can we configure this, get it changed to something less intrusive, or... suggestion?

I usually remove those lines before I send out my update to mngmt.

Understand, it might make sense to have the heading format configurable. Should be easy to implement by adding a new option to the general config section.
