Other Users can still Register for the Site

Open warnubis opened this issue 8 years ago • 3 comments

I have the Problem, that other users (not members in the Azure Groups) can still get in and Register. Although the setting for the default Role for Non-members from Azure AD Groups is "none, deny access". What do i have to change?

Thx for the help

@warnubis What mechanism are they using to register for the site? Are they being auto-provisioned by Azure AD (like in issue #126) but being denied access? Or are they registering manually and getting access through WordPress' regular username/password sign-in flow?

I am not completely shure. I get many notifications that new members have registert tot he site. But all oft hem are not known by the owner oft the Azure. The Mail-addresses sound much like spam-addresses. But how are they able to register?

Could this be related to the fixes in #167 ?
