How does the remote request option work
I am trying to test out the Remote Request option and don't seem to be having any luck. I don't see any documentation exactly on how this functionality is supposed to work so looking for a little more details.
You would need to install the MMA remote application on the machine you want to gain admin rights from, say a technician's computer. And then you can type in the name of a remote computer on which you want to gain admin rights, say an office worker's computer.
By default, the remote request application is not installed. You have to pass INSTALLREMOTE=1 to the installer.
Also, by default, remote requests are not allowed. You have to configure that with settings on the remote computer.
