Checks
- [X] I have checked existing OPL issues for duplicates and found none
- [X] I am using either OPL latest stable version, or archived version or OPL beta version
Describe the issue
Black screen on startup (ISO & ZSO). Compatibility modes do not help. I use redump images and don't use PADEMU, VMC, GSM.
Console model
SCPH-90008
OPL version / revision
OPL Stable 1.1.0 & OPL Beta 1.2.0 1964
In which device(s) have you experienced this issue?
USB, SMB
Context and extra information
Winx Club [SLES_532.19] http://redump.org/disc/24732/
I tested this game and it showed start on mx4sio and HDD, but crashes after the memory card message on the Konami screen, this on opl 1964 and 1917 BDM4.
It works via SMB and USB on 0.9.2, it takes a long time checking the memory card but it will eventually load the game
@AKuHAK, @Phantasm90
OPL 0.9.2 USB - works well
Also, please see this report. How is it possible that this game does not work through OpenTuna, but works through a modchip?
Every time i update to the latest beta this game launches the first couple of times but after that is all black screen on startup every time i want to try it again, is really weird, i replace the old version of OPL with the new one on my memory card
@AKuHAK, @Phantasm90
OPL DB 790 SMB - works well OPL DB 791 SMB - black screen on startup
OPL Beta 1.2.0 2048 SMB ISO - black screen on startup
By the way, here there is a issue with the same OPL version. And here there is a table with the latest working versions of OPL for various games.
OPL 790 SMB - After selecting a new game it froze after saving to the memory card, i tried again to continue the save and the game froze after the FMV after i beated the boss of the first level
@Phantasm90, also please check this:
OPL DB 746 SMB - works well OPL DB 756 SMB - freezes on loading screen after main menu

@Phantasm90, use Browsec or use this. For the second method, use these filters for uBlock Origin:
