[ISSUE]: Play history not updated when loading games

Describe the issue

The play history file ("Your System Configuration") isn't updated when loading a game. MC slot doesn't seem to matter.

In which device(s) have you experienced this issue?

Context and extra information

Error appears in beta 1819, which protects against writing history data to PSX cards. Even when present card(s) are only PS2, history fails to write.
