Describe the FR

Would it be possible to select a GSM mode for launching POPStarter games? 240p over component isn't guaranteed on most modern displays, and using the GSM selector tool by doctorxyz works, but the PS2 browser is inoperable at the 480/576p PS1 modes using doctorxyz's GSM.

Describe the solution you'd like

A per game/global GSM POPSLoader selection akin to the global PS2 GSM settings.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Selecting 480p PS1 mode in GSM and blindly selecting opl and the intended ps1 poploader game.

Additional context

The PS1 480p mode in GSM does not function properly outside of PS1, and requires blindly searching through menus once selected to launch PS1 games.

I am not sure but do you know that POPStarter has an option to force 480p? Just enter $480p in CHEATS.TXT globally or per game.

There is also $HDTVFIX that helps with the HDTVs that can’t deal with the interlaced resolutions thru component.
