Game is installed on a internal SATA drive with a Gamestar SATA-adapter.

Freedom Fighters [SLUS_206.58]:

OPL Stable 1.1.0 SMB & USB - works well

OPL Beta 1.2.0 2218 SMB & USB - works well

My PS2 model is SCPH-90008. I use redump images and don't use PADEMU, VMC, GSM.

For how long did you play? I'd say you need to actively play for at least an hour. This issue is for when using a HDD, but great if we can rule things out. I also don't use PADEMU, VMC or GSM.

I can add that disabling in-game reset (Disable IGR) seemingly fixes the freezing. Tried playing for several hours twice, completing several levels w/o any freezing.

Found a more severe audio issue, despite using "Accurate Reads", during the attack on the rebel base when the voice lines of the enemy general play though.
