[Suggestion]: Automatic activation of Progressive Scan in games that support it natively

Describe the FR
Hi, some games, such as Resident Evil 4 and God of War, have a native HD/Progressive Scan setting, as long as you have to press the triangle and circle buttons when loading the game... (This is annoying when you forget)
Describe the solution you'd like
My recommendation is to add this option so that it automatically configures all games that have this video option. Thank you so much.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Or also add a setting that asks if I want to activate progressive scan or not when entering the game. (only for those games that have it)

I think a better title would be: "Automatic activation of Progressive Scan in games that support it natively"

Thanks, I'll change it. English isn't my native language.

It's not mine either
I suggested this title because it is more black and white.
I do have a suggestion for this, which is fleshing out the widescreen cheat files to also include optional normalized 480p modes when available
I did a list of games with such codes in here:
https://github.com/PS2-Widescreen/OPL-Widescreen-Cheats/issues/83#issue-3245427262
And, being normalized in the descriptions inside the cheat files, cheat settings could have separate toggles on OPL for both enable widescreen/16:9 when available and enable progressive scan/480p when available; or both, obviously.
This way, it could be way simpler for a lot of games to function the best they can.
The Resident Evil 4 cheat for that exists in the widescreen hack file, it just needs to be enabled, as for God of War, God of War 1 I don't know, but there's a code for God of War II to enforce it and gof of war II menu-wise and resolution-wise is very similar, so chances are it should be possible for that cheat to exist.
I'm not against your suggestion either, but with the cheat method you could enable 480p even in games that don't actually support it on the menus for one reason or the other, and not necessarily in the way GSM does it (so some games that don't work on GSM could this way)
That list is interesting I think, also because it turns some PAL versions with 60 Hz and progressive scan codes into, potentially, the best versions of the games.

Thank you very much for your reply. What you mention is very true. I do know the tricks to enable 480p in games, and I use them whenever I can in OPL PS2rd and it works like a charm. However, I can't find those tricks, and others give me a lot of errors or simply don't work (but they work in emulator). I must emphasize that no one knows the complete list of all the games with native progressive scan built-in unless they try each game (a titanic effort that's worth it). Speaking of God of War: 480p in God of War I and II (PAL) only through cheats (PS2 physics gives a lot of problems - PCSX2 works perfectly). 480p in God of War I and II (NTSC) is native (PS2 physics works by holding down triangle and square while loading the game).
Useful for the issue #405
Perhaps I was referring to the forced start of “progressive scan” in games that support it natively.
