[FR] Initializing/Listing the disk inserted in the console
Cited in several issues and FRs, such as #638, #131, #224.
The implementation of this feature would be very welcome, and would live up to the name Open PS2 Loader
As already mentioned by @TnA-Plastic here
Of course I'm not asking for it to be done all at once, as that would be unfeasible, but perhaps little by little.
Just for records: this is implemented in neutrino

Yes, but having this in the OPL would be really good
I also seeing it as a good feature, when you use OPL as your main app.
Many modchips have the problem, that the PS2 not writing anymore to the history to the memory card. But with OPL and images it does. I hope that this can also be applied, when it's able to boot PS2 discs. I would also wish that PS2 games on CD can be read with a slower rate. Because on slim consoles, in my opinion they're really loud.

I have one of my memcard slot being wonky
And i was wondering why theres no such features yet
I always look at it like how Xbox systems does it (hell even PS3) to make it so that VMC or internal save systems be a default fallback for saves. If OPL supports booting the disc and supporting also all the features
It would be really useful
Technically there are ways to do it from what i found for just launching the disc
Adding these params into conf_apps actually work
Star Wars BattleFront II=cdrom0:\SLUS_212.40;1
But it only behaves as rudimentary apps folder with elfs in it (only renaming feature, no vmc or other opl features)
