[ISSUE]: HDD loading freezes PS2

Describe the issue
Latest beta release OPNPS2LD-v1.2.0-Beta-2172-0032c50 seem to have broken HDD initialization. PS2 freezes trying to initialize HDD when HDD initialization is set to auto. Deleting config and trying to load games off of external USB also freezes at "loading config". Last working version I was using was 21xx(i don't remember and stupidly deleted it everwhere when copying this new beta).

OPL Beta 1.2.0 2169 SMB (run_1889) - works well OPL Beta 1.2.0 2171 SMB (run_1894) - freezes on logo
OPL Beta 1.2.0 2169 USB (run_1889) - works well OPL Beta 1.2.0 2171 USB (run_1894) - black screen after launching games

Same for me - the latest version I have is OPL Beta 1.2.0 2169 and I have no problems here. 2172 hangs on startup - I have it set to mount the hdd on OPL startup.
At my place even the latest version 2177 does not start. The last one working is 2169 - am I doing something wrong?

did you remove opl configs before launching new version?
After deleting the OPL configuration, still the latest versions (after 2169) do not start. I even tried 2179 and it doesn't boot either. Black screen and it doesn't even get to the point where I hear the disk start.
PS I found the reason - installed in the MX4SIO slot

@Adamanimus Have you checked if this has been fixed in newer betas, if so please consider closing this issue
