[ISSUE]: SCUS_971.67 PaRappa the Rapper 2 freezes at black screen before any company logos (ZSO only)

Describe the issue

When using a ZSO file of SCUS-97167, PaRappa the Rapper 2, simply hangs at a black screen, before anything else appears (company logos such as Sony text or game studio logo). Does not respond to modes 1, 2, or 6 enabled, and IGR does not function either.

Using the original iso works as expected over USB.

Hi, i got the same issue as you, i use opl 1.1.0 with usb drive. I tried also EU version of PTR2 (PAL) but it also didnt worked. PaRappa The Rapper 2 works on 0.9.3 version opl (all modes are turned off).

Same as in, it works with iso, but not with zso? Because it works (as expected, with some cutscene stutters) with just the iso on USB for me.

OPL Beta 1.2.0 2125 SMB ISO - works well OPL Beta 1.2.0 2125 SMB ZSO - black screen on startup

My PS2 model is SCPH-90008. Compatibility modes do not help. I use redump images and don't use PADEMU, VMC, GSM.
