The network-stack in the GUI (from SMB) is incompatible with the one from UDPBD, beside other things.

Have you finished a game with UDPBD? I tried an RPG game and found it impossible to complete the game using UDPBD. Even when I tried compatibility mode, I still encountered black screens and gameplay freezes. I believe UDP requires further development.
