can the metrics be presented over HTTPS ?

For a company that tries to be as compliant and secure as possible, exposing the metrics securely is a must. Can the metrics be presented over HTTPS ?

Hello,

One solution (not tested) is to use a nginx/httpd daemon in front of your vmware_exporter end then proxy to your vmware_exporter that listen only in 127.0.0.1

TLS part will be handle by your nginx/httpd daemon.
