Broken keyboard layout when using Axiom

I noticed the keyboard layout of my terminal is often buggy when using Axiom. Using backspace then results in the insertion of '^H' characters.

While it is occuring quite often, sometimes it does not and I cannot identify a specific command sequence that triggers this problem.

I'm using Bash on Ubuntu 22.04.

Can confirm, it must be something simple that we're overlooking and reset does not seem to fix it either 😅
