Part of model disappears when slicing

Description of the bug

When slicing some .stl files, the preview looks correct, but the sliced version has gaps in it. I'm guessing this is because of problems with the .stl file, but it feels like a bug that the 3d rendering engine shows a correct version, but the slicer doesn't.

Project file & How to reproduce

Open stl filesSpool_Holder_Body_RMM.stl, Spool_Holder_Body_End_RMM.stl from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5415292 or from the remixed original Spool_holder_body_v3.stl https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5240933 and slice. I tried different Print settings, different filament profiles and different printer profiles, all with the same result. Below examples were sliced with the Default Ender-3 v2, Generic PLA, 0.20 mm NORMAL profiles.
