Changing The Temp For Just One Filament for the Entire Print

Open tbedore opened this issue 6 years ago • 3 comments

I'm running a print with PVA, I didn't know what temp would've been good for it, so I started running it at 200c per the manufacturer recommendation. But that is too hot, I want to lower it to 195, but the other PLA in the extruder needs to be at 200. There should be a setting available that allows me to change the temp to stay consistent the entire print. It keeps being too hot and isn't forming a proper end so the filament retracts out too far and then it can't load it back in.

Why not change it in the Slicer for the filament slot?

It’s so yiu can change the temp on the fly for the MMU, so if you are 7 hours into a 20 hour print and you realize it is too hot you can change the temp and that temp stays consistent for the whole print on just that one color

I think that would be firmware for the printer, not the MMU2 device. It only controls the filament loading/unloading process.
