New feature motivation

There is currently no native support for the Australian Cyber Security Centre’s Essential Eight (E8) framework and Australian organizations often rely on the Essential Eight as a security baseline.

Solution Proposed

Adding a dedicated compliance module for the Essential 8.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Currently, organizations must either manually map Prowler findings to the Essential Eight or configure the compliance in AWS.

Thanks for the heads up! We'll take this compliance framework into account in order to improve our compliance coverage. Right now we are working actively on multiple compliances that are about to be released so we'll add E8 after that 🚀
