Do a better job dealing with event descriptions

What feature would you like to improve https://www.adapacific.org/

Currently we use the Yoast SEO description if present, then default to trimming available characters in the default WP post box. For some sites this mean we do not get a good description shown in list views for events. Ideally users would create a short description that fit the shorter version on list views, and they'd create a longer description that would be shown on the single event view.

That may mean adding a text field for the Short Description and encouraging users to use it.
