Describe the bug

A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

When tabbing on a page with the search bar, it opens the window to the type-ahead search.

This happens when the actual search form field is on the page (not the search icon in the navbar), like with most homepages.

Feedback:

We got some feedback about using tab to navigate the homepage of our website. If you navigate to the search box (or even just click on the search box), the whole page reorients to a new layout. This could present an issue for folks trying to navigate past the search box.
