Would probably demand a fork + new Source: https://tangrams.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Syntax-Reference/sources/

Prefer https://github.com/protomaps/go-pmtiles as a solution for renderers that need Z/X/Y tiles.

Likely not going to do this as the demand for rendering is mostly in MapLibre/Leaflet/OL. Please re-open if this is something there is an immediate use case for.
