Reloading ontology does not reload imported ontologies located on the web

Working with version 5.5.0

While working on the currently active model that directly imported an OWL/XML document located on the web, I tried File > Reload to pull an updated version of the imported OWL/XML document. Protege does not seem to pull in the new content from the updated document that was imported into the currently active document.

Am I supposed remove the imported ontology and re-import in order to get the updated content?
