Finer granularity for measuring operation duration

Docs say "Timers can be used to report the duration of an operation (in seconds) to a Summary, Histogram, Gauge or Counter"

Is it possible to configure finer granularity on the time block e.g. measure duration in 100s of milliseconds...

Fractional seconds are supported, 100 ms will simply be reported at 0.1. Is that what you are asking or did I misunderstand the question?
