How to install without docker?

Hello, I am running my docker stack in the unprivileged LXC container on the Proxmox host.

Proxmox host is managing the disks, and I would like to install the smartctl_exporter directly on it. I cannot install it in an unprivileged LXC container as I need to have root access and also direct access to disks that are not passed to the container directly.
