Smart Routing perf issues

When loading a medium-to-large graph with smarRouting set to true, performance decreases significantly, especially when dragging the diagram canvas.

The same does not happen when the flag is set to false.

any updates on this or any alternatives you can suggest? I have a graph of ~100 nodes, without smartRouting the links are all over the place, with smartRouting it takes minutes to render
