more fine grained controlled of email notifications

I would like the ability to disable file upload notifications for certain users such as the system administrator as he does not need to know what is going on with the clients.

A check box in the users edit page would be ok. Otherwise i have to disable my account (not tested notifications with account disabled) which makes things awkward.
