EGO claims that our UUID is already taken. Which is particulary odd as it is a new one.. I have writen to the gnome-shell mailing list in order to figure out how to proceed.

Several questions to this:

  • Is 0.10.0 still relevant? Or are we aiming 0.11.0 already? (Sorry, I am a bloody newbie regarding the extension versioning and release policy.) Maybe this can (or will) be handled in #322 as well?
  • Did you get any answer from EGO regarding the UUID?
  • Can we merge this to #304? I assign the duplicate label to this, tentatively.

IIRC 0.10.0 would kick us from GNOME shell 3.20 compatibility to 3.28. The later changes are not included.
