Groups messed up after upgrade.
I'm on Mac, FF dev edition 71.0b4. I was using the master branch from 29 August. I upgraded to the latest version of master (28 October) and half my groups disappeared. And the ones I could see didn't have the correct tabs in them. It seemed like there were groups "stuck" in the top left corner. I opened the console and saw the error shown in the attached screenshot:
Can confirm - Groups 0-4 are fine, the rest is stuck in the top left corner (it seems, looks like a lot of graphics glitches up there ^^) and can't be moved. I also get the same errors in console. FF 70.0.1, PTG 0.8.10
Additionally, the buttons on the top for new group, settings and the new tiling buttons don't work at all
Hello, I too got something quite similar this morning. Here is a capture of the switch group window :
Uninstalling / installing didn't solve anything. I saw a "reset" button in the option but clicking on it just brings a dialog saying it's not implemented yet...
I'm quite sad with the situation : I had more than 50 tabs opened with 5 groups, this morning it took me almost half an hour to sort it out... Is there at least a way to reset to default, keep only one group with all tabs in it ? So that I could get back using tab groups (for now my only option is to disable the extension and close tabs...)
Having the same issue. Shortcuts, Alt+W and Alt+Shift+W are still working.
The console is showing error: TypeError: groupNodes[group.id] is undefined for groupNodes.js:479:20 and groupNodes.js:398:13
Got same problem as @piRGoif .. I can't accsses many reasearch tabs I was working with
Any solutions ?
I didn't try myself, but
- a new version has been released, that should reverse the bug (and the features :( ) and
- a workaround could be disabling the Add On - all tabs should come back then.
Thanks, new version solves the problem indeed ! All of my groups are back again \o/
Good on my side, too - thanks for the lightningfast fix :D
thanks for the quick fix
