`vec` object implies generality over `vec2` and `vec4`

A more appropriate name for the vec object would be vec3, as the vec object is merely the three dimensional vector object, as vec2 is for a 2 dimensional vector object and vec4 is for a four dimensional vector object. The naming of vec without a dimensionality appended to the end implies a general vector of n dimensions, which vec is not.
