doesn't work on DerpFest
doesn't work on derpfest which is AOSP based. the config doesn't change anything. derpfest android 11
I have never heard of derpfest. If you want me to look at it, provide logcat captured while restarting systemui.
logcat_07-15-2021_22-08-54.txt
here's the logcat, i'm not sure if it's captured correctly. thanks before
are you using version 2.1.1 available in this github repo?
its weird, the code is replacing the icons with nothing, so it somehow loses track of the selected files or can't acquire them
Could you please take a screenshot of the selection screen and upload this config file: /data/misc/lspd_gGYbpOgMI80nNRo3/prefs/com.programminghoch10.mobileiconchanger/mobileIconChanger.xml.
If this won't help, I'll compile a special version containing more precise logs
i'm using latest 2.2.1 rom this repo
1st pic was before system ui restart, 2nd pic after restart system ui.

Could you please replace icons with other system icons (from section system)?
and enable color
then capture another logcat while restarting systemui
sorry for your time and thanks before btw, here's the logcat with system section icons and enable blue color

the logo still didn't change, seems like it's a no hope?
This time it could not read the config file. I don't know what caused this, but as it worked before, maybe just try it one more time.
But I want to clarify some things here:
In the compatibility I wrote any AOSP-near ROM should be supported.
AOSP stands for Android Open Source Project. It is the core every android is based on.
I still do not know about Derpfest, but I can tell you: LineageOS is AOSP-near, because they do not change a lot of AOSP. Samsungs OneUI on the other hand is not AOSP-near because they change a lot, it looks like a whole other Android even though it is also based on AOSP. Every Android is based on AOSP.
Also i wrote in the compatibility notes it probably won't if your icon has activity indicators, which on your screenshot it clearly does.
So yeah probably there is no hope. But I am still interested in why it does not work, so if you have the time and don't mind, I'll get back to you for more testing.
