Add option for specific button mapping for individual roms?

I want to change the button layout completely for one game. but if i did that it would ruin the controls for all the other games. is there a way you could add individual button mapping for different roms? maybe just have the feature to make a config file named the same as the rom and use that specific config when the rom of the same name is launched?

There are already per-game config files. See README for that. What i probably didn't mention is that button remapping will work in per-game config files.
