Hi) Could you help, please, are you able build and deploy this app to AUR every release?

I'll look into that in the future.

I'll look into that in the future.

I've Been using Feed Flow on Android from last 3 months, it has all important features I need.

  1. Remember Feed Articles locally even after removed from RSS feed source.
  2. Merge duplicate articles from 2 different RSS feeds, I tried a few other and they duplicate articles.

I would also like an AUR package for my Arch Desktop. Or even a flatpak will work, but AUR package would be better.

Eagerly awaiting. Thank you for this wonderful app.

I used Feed Flow on Windows 11. There was a problem with reader mode on which is also posted in issues.

I thought this is only windows 11 problem. So, I had to installed Linux mint to test .deb package. Same issue on Linux platforms.

If only AUR package was available.

Hi @SpicyPoison, not yet AUR, but Flatpak is finally available: https://flathub.org/apps/com.prof18.feedflow

That's great. Finally users of all distros will be able to use it. AUR package is next, I guess. I wonder, what makes an FOSS software eligible for hosting it into official Arch Repositories?

Dark mode on flatpak would be appreciated. Not found any setting to turn it on. And default is light mode.

It should change when changing the system settings 🤔 If not, the library is not working 😅

I might add a forced toggle in future releases! : 🙏

Forced toggle appeared in new release. Thank you very much for that. Just one problem, after closing the app and lauching flatpak again, it's again light mode so that forced toggle is not persistent.

When we close app, does this run in background and refresh feeds? Or it stops working? How about it stays in system tray in background and keep refreshing.

I've noticed that feedflow (similar to all flatpaks) store data in /home/username/.var Where can I find app's stored data in Android? I've checked Android/data for com.prof18.feedflow folder but it's not available.

Just want to backup Downloaded articles or I might lose so many bookmarked and read articles if I lose my android device.

That's weird, it should be persisted, I'll take a look.

No, once it's closed, the app doesn't run in the background. I'll consider keeping it in the system tray in the future, thank you for the suggestion!

On Android you can only backup the data using Dropbox sync (except the OPML for the feed subs). I'll think about some sort of alternative backup to preserve articles, even if they will disappear from the RSS feed.
