Batches? Chords? Workflows?

Is there anything on the roadmap for a scatter/gather feature? I have tasks that currently use the chord feature of Celery which is where you spin up a bunch of tasks and get a callback with the results of each as an array when they are done.

Is this something you are thinking of or maybe even already done and I just missed it?

You can find a conversation about workflows in #1198. As you can read from that issue, there is nothing out of the box.

Work is underway to release a new major version but that doesn't include anything related to workflows.
