Error creating partition table into HDD

Open vrtlspd opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

I have a very small sd card in the Pi3 and I used https://pinn.mjh.nz/ to generate the configuration with 3 OS's I tried several sizes in the setup and even a bigger HDD and it keeps showing that error message. Do you have some guide on how to install into an HDD? Checking the HDD into a PC, I can see that the partitions were in fact created. What could be going wrong?

All the instructions can be found in https://github.com/procount/pinn/blob/master/README_PINN.md When you have selected the OSes you want to install, did you select your HDD as the destination drive? Were you asked to format it for PINN and did you? If you have pressed ctrl-alt-f2 to get into the cmdline and mounted a partition, it may prevent future partitioning. Normally a reboot will correct this. Finally, if you are still stuck, try following the instructions on https://github.com/procount/pinn/wiki/Troubleshooting and post the resultant logs.
