Importing page with repeater content that contains item depth doesn't work correctly (video)

When exporting a page that has a repeater and those repeater items have depth to them, re-importing the page (a) does not respect the repeater item depth (b) creates extra orphaned pages

I'm sure this occurs due to the importer stripping the indent repeater item page name dashes that represent the indentation amount.
