Increasing Access

My goal is to achieve the objectives of increasing access to "People who lack opportunities and/or resources to engage with creative coding due to class or income" and "People with little or no prior experience in open source and creative coding".

I've been a member of both groups. And I want to help move folks from beginner to advanced beginner. Providing simple examples written clearly is one way to facilitate this process. To put it another way, I aim to be a resource the "I" needed two years ago (aka in the past).

Most appropriate sub-area of p5.js?

My goal - add a simple and clear example that matches the Processing example.

Processing > Color > Brightness — Brightness example p5.js > Color > Brightness — Brightness example

What I'm trying to solve:

• The goal stated here, "porting the examples from the processing examples page to the p5.js examples page."
• Providing an example that matches the Processing example created by Rusty Robison. The p5.js example is very cool, but doesn't match the Processing example, and it's a bit more of a complex application. I believe my example is a good supplement to the one already provided by Daniel Schiffman ❤️
• To help folx grow from beginner to intermediate users 🌱
