p5.js editor stop button not working

to kill a sketch in the default browser if we press stop button in the p5 editor its not killing the http://localhost:3000

This happens to myself and my students as well. If we run our sketch, and then minimize the localhost window (sketch window) and go to a different window (search the web for something) and come back to the editor to make changes or stop the sketch it stops but doesn't restart properly upon pressing the play button.

Same. It just freezes then I have to force quit typically.

Also when I run the code and in the localhost window if I refresh it and then close the window the stop button doesn't change back to play button. It gets stuck and I have to force quit the editor. This is for the mac version.
