horizontal scroll doesn't go far enough when console on the right side

can't scroll the cursor all the way to the right when the console is on the side. when you flip the console to the bottom and then back to the side it's fixed. guessing the function that calculates the horizontal width should just be called in the beginning of launching the editor. see the long line in this screenshot.
